Random Art tidbits

Here is some random other art ventures I did dealing with oil pastels, Posca markers, linoleum art, and more oil pastels.

  • Oil pastels can create both drawings and paintings, this medium is a mix between crayons and pastel. Also perfect for blending you can either use a napkin or your fingers for smooth consistency. Mainly was testing them out for the first time since I mainly use more soft pastels like the block not the chalk pastels. I mean the different there is oil pastels much creamier while soft pastels are drier and powderier. Oil pastels 1st and 4th image. (Greene, n.d.)
  • Posca markers are markers that can help you paint other than the traditional paint brush method. Posca markers are water-based acrylic paint you can use this medium on nearly any surface. posca markers 2nd image. (Art is fun!)
  • Linoleum art is formed on Linoleum block the blocks are durable flooring material easier to cut than wood. You would use v shaped chisels or some type of cutter. Any uncarved parts are what is printed by a roller (brayer) than by hand to paper or whatever material. (Hickman, 2024)

I hope you all enjoyed this pieces not much, but I just wanted to share some of my other art ventures. As always have a dazzling day.
